(Online Theory + On-Campus Practical)
The Master Barber – Hybrid Program is a comprehensive course of study designed to prepare students for professional barbering through a structured blend of technical skill development and theoretical instruction. The program covers the full practice of traditional and modern barbering, including haircutting, shaving, grooming, sanitation, professional practices, and New York State barbering laws.
This hybrid-format program combines distance education for theory-based coursework with in-person, on-campus training for hands-on practical application. While the Master Barber – Hybrid Program requires fewer practical hours than the Barber Operator program, it exceeds the scope of apprenticeship-level training and is designed to prepare students to sit for the New York State Barber Licensing Examination.
Graduates of the program are equipped with the foundational skills, professional discipline, and regulatory knowledge necessary to pursue licensure and entry into the barbering profession.
